Leeds Bread Co-op's new seeded rye went down well and continues for one more week as their special. It's available here.

Blood oranges have come down in price and I've ordered them across the board for all boxes. This week they are coming directly from I Frutti Del Sole in Marsala Sicily. We are yet to have blood oranges from this farm in 2024 (although we have in previous years) but our main wholesaler have set their stall out and are saying this year are some of the best they've ever had!

"These Blood Taroccos from Marsala in Sicily, through the fabulous I Frutti Del Sole are probably the best bloods we’ve ever tasted. And, we don’t want to brag, but we’ve tasted a LOT."

As well as in all boxes with fruit about 5kg are up for grabs as swaps and to add to your order here!

There is a new type of pear for our boxes next week flor de invierno from Spain.
After the stormy weather last week and the cancellation of the vast majority of mushrooms I've included these in most boxes.

From across the UK there are some white satin carrots, leeks, sprouts, and jerusalem artichoke.
From Europe we've got courgettes, broccoli, nadorcott clementines and red chillies.
